The Daisy Early Learning Academy (DELA) is a private early childhood program dedicated to the care and education of children ages 3 through pre-K. Operated by Sonoran Schools and located on the campus of Sonoran Science Academy Tucson, DELA is a state-licensed, 5-STAR Quality First provider and Cognia-accredited program. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Preschool Director to lead daily operations and continue building a high-quality, nurturing learning environment.

Your Role Will Include:

Overseeing daily operations and administration of the preschool program.
Hiring, training, and managing staff in collaboration with the campus principal.
Developing curricula and policies that meet state licensing, Quality First, and Cognia accreditation standards.
Managing financial transactions, budgets, and accurate recordkeeping.
Scheduling ongoing professional development and training for teaching staff.
Ensuring the facility is well-maintained and that health and safety standards are upheld.
Overseeing meal planning and preparation for students.
Serving as a communicative and collaborative partner with stakeholders, families, and school leadership.

Qualifications:

Degree in early childhood development or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a director or administrative leadership role.
Minimum 3 years of classroom experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Genuine love for children and passion for early childhood education.
Child Care Administrator License (preferred).
Experience with Quality First Program and Cognia/AdvancEd Accreditation (preferred).
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Salary and Benefits:

Pay: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.

Location & Shift Times:

Daisy Early Learning Academy at Sonoran Science Academy.
Monday through Friday.
