We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and organized Social Studies Teacher to join our middle school team for grades 6 through 8.

Your Role Will Include

Teaching Social Studies to grades 6, 7, and 8 with two sections per grade level.
Planning and delivering standards-aligned instruction using Arizona Academic Standards that is engaging, rigorous, and age-appropriate.
Using formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Differentiating instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse learners.
Integrating literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving into Social Studies instruction.
Establishing and maintaining a structured, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment.
Collaborating with colleagues across grade levels and content areas to support interdisciplinary learning.
Communicating regularly and professionally with students, families, and school staff.
Participating in team meetings, professional development, curriculum planning, and school events.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Arizona Department of Education Certification (preferred).
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
Creative and engaging instructional style with a genuine passion for teaching.
Collaborative team player with a positive, professional demeanor.
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Salary and Benefits

Pay: $56,000 to $64,000 per year.

Location & Shift Times

Paragon Science Academy, Chandler.
Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM.
